Pitch Fest/ Startup Summit

Program to sensitize early stage startups towards incubation through closed room pitches, followed by key note speeches, panel discussions to brainstorm on key trends of startup ecosystem.

PRE-SUMMIT MEET

A pre-summit meet was organized on 08/05/2017 with research heads of various departments to provide a clear view about prior functions and activities of SU-TBI. The session was handled by Mr. Suresh Iyer, Mr.Shyam Sekar, Ms Meena Goel. The session emphasized about start-up summit pitching program and its importance for the students. The program went on in discussion with identifying the mentors for the students who can guide them in the fulfillment of the innovative ideas into product.

STARTUP SUMMIT

“Startup Summit – Pitching Program for Young Entrepreneurs” organized by SU – TBI on 09.05.17. Followed by pre-summit workshop on 08.05.2017, idea pitching by students was organized on 09.05.2017. 15 Ideas which are screened and shortlisted by the experts were presented by students of Mechanical, Civil, Information Technology, and Biotechnology. Each student was given 3 Minutes for the presenting their Ideas and 2 minutes for questioning. Two external referees, Mr. G. Krishnamoorthy, Founder, Startupkonnect and Mr. Rajasekar, Director,
