AWARENESS PROGRAMME

SU – TBI in association with Rotary International District 3230 – Women Empowerment Wing organized women Entrepreneurship Development Programme on 26/08/16. The session emphasized on women entrepreneurship and speakers shared some of the success stories.

Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp was organized by SU – TBI in association with Entrepreneurship Development on 25/07/16, 25/07/17 & 30/10/19 respectively. The camp was handled by Mr.E.Baskaran, Mr.Raja Sreenivasan, Mr. Prem Kumar, Dr. Vasantha Kumari & Mr. Kishore Kumar, Manager, TBI. The session emphasized about the importance of entrepreneurship and qualities of entrepreneurs along with discussion related to how the idea gets converted to a real business.

Sathyabama - TBI organized “Entrepreneurship awareness programme” on 17.03.2017 in which around 80 students participated in the session. The speakers for the day was Dr. S. Seshadri, Mr. Vetri Vidiyal Sreenivasan, Mr. Venkataramana Jothi Babu. The session was all about awareness related to entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial activities which covered business idea and product development.

“Entrepreneurship as a Career Option”- a Career Development Program was organized by SU – TBI in association with Third wave Overseas Education on 05/08/2017. The Session was handled by Mr. Guilmault Michel, Director Department of International Development, INSEEC, Chambery Campus France. He emphasized on the importance of education and the opportunities that are available for the students to develop their career.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

An Entrepreneurship Development Programme was organized by Sathyabama – TBI in association with NSTEDB – DST on 05.02.2018. The session was delivered by Mr. Karthick Sekar, Mr. Shan Shanmugasundaram, Ms. Nagalakshmi.

FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES IN THE FIELD OF BIOTECHNOLOGY FOR ENTREPRENEURS

An awareness session organized by Sathyabama – TBI on 31.01.18. The Program Started with the Inaugural Address By Dr.Ramjee Pallella, Chief Manager, IKP Knowledge Park Hyderabad. He explained various schemes available for funding entrepreneurs related to Biotechnology.

An awareness session organized by Sathyabama TBI in association with the Institution Innovation Council for all the student clubs addressing the students from various departments. 18 such workshops have been organized to address 1000+ students and kindled the students towards Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

RESEARCH TO INNOVATION

An unconference was organized by Sathyabama TBI for the faculties of Centre for Ocean Research, Centre for Earth & atmospheric sciences and Centre for Remote Sensing & Geo informatics. Mr. Kishore Kumar, TBI- Manager briefed about how research can be transformed in to product, Later Dr. B. Sheela Rani (Director-Research) & Dr. Seshadri and all the faculties had an interactive session.
